The 1st XI played out a winning draw away to Flitwick in a mid-table clash. Batting first, Hertford set Flitwick 312 to win with a solid batting performance led by skipper Benji Cowell, 104*, and Lawrance, 68. Despite Braans' 3-59 with the ball, Hertford couldn't break down Flitwick's resistance, but still left with a solid 18-point haul.
The 2nd XI played Flitwick 2's at home and, despite a strong start with the bat, succumbed to a 6-wicket defeat. Ben Orchard offered his side a glimpse of hope with the ball, picking up 2-16 from his 7 overs.
The 3s and 4s capped off a disappointing weekend for the club, losing by 119 runs and 8 wickets, respectively. The 3s were set 272 to win by Cheshunt Rosedale (Spalding 2-32), but could only manage 152 in reply (Rideout.G 44). The 4s faced Old Camdenians at home, setting their opponents 164 to win (Prasad 54*). This proved far too few as Camdenians romped home with 8 wickets spare.
All teams will look to reverse their fortunes as we head into the second half of the season.
