The 1st XI suffered a narrow 3-wicket defeat away to Potters Bar despite a strong bowling effort in the second half of the game. Batting first, Hertford found themselves 49-4 before a 68-run partnership between Mikedis and Pavey steadied the innings. Mikedis produced an excellent 65 while Pavey anchored the innings with an unbeaten 44. Cowell added a useful 18 late on as Hertford finished on 174-8 from their 50 overs, on a tricky batting surface. Potters Bar made a flying start in reply, with Parkes (40) and Hawkins putting on 90 for the first 2 wickets. Hertford fought back through Eustance (2-60) and T.Orchard, who bowled superbly to take 3-12. Potters Bar eventually reached their target for the loss of 7 wickets. A frustrating result for the 1s after plenty of good work with the ball.

The 2nd XI secured an excellent 6-run victory over Eversholt in a closely fought contest. Hertford made a solid start after being put into bat, with Mercer (44) and Price (31) putting on 70 for the opening wicket. After a couple of quick wickets, Joyce took control of the innings, producing an unbeaten 58 from 86 balls. Useful contributions from S.Ruskin, C.Abell and S.Clarke helped Hertford reach 214-7 from their 50 overs. At one stage, Eversholt looked well placed in the chase, however, Hertford's bowlers kept chipping away. Williams and Underdown both took 3 wickets, while F.Ruskin added 2, and the pressure eventually told. Eversholt were bowled out for 208 to give Hertford a hard-earned 6-run victory. A superb team effort and an excellent result for the 2s.

The 3rd XI produced a dominant performance to secure a 125-run victory over Shenley Village. Batting first, Hertford posted an imposing 273-6 from their 50 overs. Read was the star of the innings, falling just 6 runs short of a well-deserved century after making an excellent 94 from 129 balls, including 13 fours and a six. Read shared valuable partnerships throughout, first with C.Ives (29) and then G.Rideout (27), before Marnoch struck 24 from just 19 balls. Late contributions from L.Abell (38)* and Gardner (12*) pushed Hertford beyond 270. Shenley's chase never really got going as Hertford's bowlers applied consistent pressure. Gardner, Beardsley, C.Ives and Marnoch all claimed 2 wickets apiece as Shenley were eventually bowled out for 148. A comprehensive victory for the 3s, built around an excellent batting performance and disciplined bowling display.

The 4th XI fell to a 6-wicket defeat against Holtwhites-Trinibis despite posting a competitive 205-4 from their 40 overs. Hertford's innings was built around an excellent opening partnership between Page and Wolton, who put on 124 for the first wicket. Page made a 50 before Wolton took the attack to the bowlers, hitting 16 fours in an excellent 76 from 96 balls. A.Rideout added 31* as Hertford finished on 205-4. The visitors' chase got off to a steady start before Wolton claimed 2 wickets to keep Hertford in the contest. Perkins and Jackson also struck, but Holtwhites remained in control thanks to a superb innings from Reis (75 from just 41 balls). Holtwhites ultimately reached their target 6-down in the 38th over. A disappointing result for the 4s after a strong batting display.
