Discover the details from game week 13 at Hertford Cricket Club.

The 1st XI enjoyed a winning draw at home to Radlett in a brilliant game which ebbed and flowed throughout the day. Batting first in a rain-delayed game in bowler friendly conditions, Hertford did well to post 232 in their batting innings with runs coming from Eustance (52) and Cavener (41). Radlett were well-set on 110/2 in the run-chase but 2 wickets apiece from Carlson, Eustance, Ruskin and Wilson meant Hertford left with the better points tally on the day; Radlett blocking out and finishing on 199/8 at close of play.

As they have been on numerous occasions this season, the 2nd XI were unfortunately on the wrong side of another close encounter, this one away to Rickmansworth. Pavey's team would've been disappointed to only post 163 in their batting innings (rescued by Orchard.T with 63), but at one stage it looked like it might be enough, only for Rickmansworth to edge home with 1 wicket spare (Underdown 3-43; Murphy 2-23).

With the 4th XI's league fixture cancelled (Stevenage conceded), the 3rd XI were the final team in action on Saturday. Unfortunately they were unable to make this recap any more encouraging, losing on the road to Weston by 7 wickets. Hertford batted first, only managing 128, a total which was chased by their opponents for the loss of just 3 wickets (Hunt 38; Beardsley 2-32).
