Simon was a familiar face at Hertford Cricket Club, watching his son’s, Sam and Jack, play in Rob Carter’s successful colts team for many years. The whole Timms family were part of the Barbados tour in 2011 – wonderful memories for everyone involved.

Simon was very involved in his younger son Jack’s colts team, helping with coaching, setting up for matches, transport and anything else that needed doing. Always with a smile on his face. He was even happy to turn out for the 5th XI when needed.

Our thoughts are with Simon’s family and friends.

Simon’s funeral will take place this Friday 11th March, 1pm at Woollensbrook Crematorium in Hoddesdon.
