The club is fully aligned to the government’s road-map for stage 2 and the latest ECB guidance. We have revised our Covid risk assessment and this can be found on the website under the 'Information' tab, with a copy of the latest ECB guidance - https://bit.ly/3tqWzoM
There are a number of important points below to note - senior and junior players your team manager, coach and/or captain will give you more detailed guidance at training and matches. Please bear in mind these are the ECB and governmental guidance which the club must follow so please take personal accountability for following them - please lets not have situations where club members need to remind you to follow these points.
Key points:
- It is critical anybody planning to attend the club, carries out a self –assessment before leaving home. If you are displaying any covid symptoms or have been advised to shield. Do not travel and follow the NHS guidelines.
- The clubhouse facilities are only available for use of toilets, storage of kit and for volunteers providing hospitality services. Changing rooms and shower facilities are not available. Please follow instruction signage around the building.
- Players should arrive in their training or playing kit or change in the car. Sharing of kit is strongly discouraged and players should bring their own food and drink. (Team managers will disinfect any shared junior kit between use).
- Spectators are not allowed at stage 2. However, parents and carers may attend with their dependent children. Club members are able to attend to use the club’s hospitality facilities during and after any matches. As the grounds are open to the public, we are unable to stop people passing through.
- The club plans to have the bar open from 4.30pm on senior match days, we will assess whether we can bring this earlier based upon bar staff availability. Members will need to be seated at an outdoor table to order and consume drinks.
- Player areas during matches will be clearly signed and only players should enter these areas.
- It is critical that anybody entering the building registers with NHS Track and Trace system. QR codes are posted at access points to allow users to scan in or visitor sheets are also available by each door.
Please read the detailed risk assessment for further detail or do not hesitate to contact me or any club official if you have any questions. Please stay safe and respect the rules and guidance signage.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
Thanks,
Richard
