Diffusion: Cardiff International Festival of Photography is a biennial month-long international festival of photography taking place in Cardiff, Wales' capital city between the 1st and 31st May. As part of the festival there is a special exhibition called Zeitgeist at the Wales Millennium Centre, featuring Marisa Cullato photographies of Hertford cricketers. As cricket is a competitive sport, I am sure you want to know whose photos made the final cut!

The unlikely male models include Nick Horton, Del Reddy, Simon Dawson, Geoff Cordingley, Hesh Abeyrickrama, Conner Ives and Michael Ives.

Marisa work explores the final element of British culture ‘cricket’ that has eluded her on her bicultural journey as a Spanish national who has a British husband and two bilingual children. It is maybe not surprising that Marisa has found cricket so difficult to understand given most of the people who play it barely understand it! It probably encapsulates the complexity of the British culture as well as other aspect of our way of life.
